If you already have plans and will miss tonight’s show, don’t worry. We’ll post the video on our social media feeds this weekend. Feel free to share it with your networks. We’re proud of the work done in Tennessee’s classrooms this year and we’re always glad when the opportunity comes to talk about those gains.

When: Friday May 27, 2016 7:00pm Central and will replay various times over the weekend
Where: News Channel 5+
Who: Tennessee Education Commission Candice McQueen and Adam Lister

We hope you’ll tune in!

We wanted to make sure you saw this article about the decline of remedial classes in Tennessee’s colleges. There’s a lot of good information here, but we’re most excited to see that more and more Tennessee’s kids are ready for their next steps. It’s why we do what we do – supporting teachers and students to make sure every student in Tennessee has an opportunity to succeed. There’s more work to be done, but we enjoy celebrating the gains made in our classrooms. Well done!
