| ATTENTION ALL SUPERHEROES! Summer will be over in a flash! We want you to be Marvel-Ous readers this summer with Tristar Reads. We’re excited to spend the next few months together reading lots of books, logging lots of reading hours, and using our reading superpowers. | You Can Be a Superhero Too! Across the Volunteer State, participating students will read for at least 20 minutes a day during the summer break. The program runs from May 1, 2019 through September 7, 2019 and is open to all Tennessee students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Three $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to the students –one elementary school student (K – 5th grade), one middle school student (6th – 8th grade), and one high school student (9th – 12th grade)– who read and log the most hours over the course of the summer.
