Inside TNSuccess

Weekly Update – January 30, 2017

Are you a Tennessean for Student Success? Maybe you’re a teacher or pastor or community leader. Perhaps you go by Mom or Dad. You might even be a student yourself! We have a place for you to help make sure every student in Tennessee has an opportunity to succeed.

Our Coalitions for Student Success are a hands-on way to give your time, talents, and voice to Tennessee’s kids. If you only have a minute to make one phone call a week – that’s great, we have a place for you. If you can come to Nashville and attend an Education Committee hearing – that’s great, we have a place for you. We’d love to connect you with our coalitions staff. Join one of our coalitions by visiting our website.

Tennessee’s kids need all hands on deck to champion their success. Being named the fastest improving state in the nation in education – twice – was no small victory and we’re proud of how far our classrooms have come. But we know there’s work to be done as we continue to fight for high academic standards, more choice in public education, fewer, but better tests, and more accountability for everyone involved in the classroom.

Join us! We have a place for you to help in this historic and exciting work.
